PODCAST: Acting County Manager Mitch Rowe happy to be back in Seneca

Leadership comes in all shapes and sizes.

Acting County Manager Mitch Rowe, who is once again serving in Seneca County, brings a relaxed, professional leadership style to a municipality in need of a level approach to operation.

The Board of Supervisors say they are pleased with Rowe’s performance overall since taking the role of ‘Acting County Manager’ in early-September after the unexpected departure of Sheppard.

In a visit to the FingerLakes1.com Studio Rowe discussed his initial time in Seneca County — when he served as Director of Planning; then County Manager before leaving for an opportunity in Rochester — as well as that time away from the community he loved. Rowe also discussed some of the open projects, which have drawn criticism from elected officials and taxpayers alike.

Listen to his entire conversation with FingerLakes1.com News Director Josh Durso on Episode #150 of Inside the FLX.
